Watching Warm Wally
Meet Wally, my part-time dog
He moves funny like a frog
Running with front legs, then back-
Just watching him makes me laugh
While my other dogs are cold with the snow
Wally likes to put an outdoor show
On a foot of snow he runs like crazy
While the other two just go out and pee
Although he likes the weather cold
Inside he's got a heart of gold
He can be so warm and sensitive
But also affectionate and attentive
When I raise my voice kinda upset
Wally's my one and only pet
Who comes from anywhere rushing right away
To me he comes to save my day
He then showers me with many kisses
Or looks up at me as if he listens
He stays with me until I stop
Then he lays back down the floor and nap
(Unless, of course, when he does something naughty like pick up my check
from the table and shred it to pieces with his fangs. When he hears me call out, WALLY! then he stays away as far as
he can :).
