Labels of Thanks

  1. Nail Party (puts smiles on my nails and helps a friend make sales).
  2.  Breaded Mushrooms (frozen foods feed my family when I'm busy).
  3. Basketball. Son's basketball season started and keeps him busy.
  4. Beer. Just rootbeer, my fave drink.
  5. Frozen Foods. More of it.
  6. Free Breakfast. Who can complain about free meal at work?
  7. Cold Patio. I was eating hotcakes inside while looking out  the cold patio. It reminds me to be thankful for the warmth and to pray for the hungry and cold.
  8. Finish. Game over. My son's team won 26-16.
  9. RIP. The label that hit my family hard. Two days in the hospital for my dad we thought was healthy. He did not suffer long.
  10. Old Picture. Reminding me to love the people who are remaining.
We are still lucky. Let us share our love in
our home, outside our home, in our country, and the people who are suffering overseas.

Peace.

So sorry for your loss. The thankfulness that your dad did not suffer long is so very important. I know how difficult it is to deal with the loss of a loved one.

sorry to hear of loss of a parent….
the rest of your list, also very strong, (in the way that good TToT Posts often are), and item 4? damn! I (used) to totally love root beer… it's been a while, I bet I'll go out there and find me some this week!
(and so, the ripples of the TToT move on altering the lives of it's participants)

So sorry about your dad. Sending prayers your way during this time of sadness.
Sitting inside looking out at the cold is much better than the alternative.

So sorry to hear about your dad. There's no good time to lose someone you love. Well done for coming up with thankfuls in the face of such loss. And the hotcakes whilst watching a cold outdoors sound particularly delightful.

So sorry about the loss of your father. I just noticed that you are one of those special people who daily give of yourself and knowledge caring for others. I so admire and appreciate those who serve critical care patients. Thank you.
I've never eaten breaded mushrooms. I'll have to try some.
