  1. Nurse Nina Pham got out of the hospital and tested negative for Ebola after treatment.
  2. The President made a gesture to help open up the eyes of people.  He hugged Nurse Pham in the Oval Office yesterday, shortly after she was released from the National Institutes of Health.
  3. This is a strong gesture to reassure nervous Americans (including me) that we can trust medical and scientific authorities and that the Ebola is treatable.  People who are cured should not pose a threat.
  4. Nothing to do with Ebola, my killer dog (a.k.a. Snowball, the miniature poodle) did not pose a threat to the dogs and humans in the no-leash dog’s park. This is the first time I took a risk of taking him because in the past he attempted to bite humans and dogs he does not like.  He loved the park and tolerated everyone, wagging his little tail along the park.  He only barked once!
  5. My teens and I had a good day.  This is a no-argument day.
