2015 -- A Year in Review to be Thankful

Friday, January 01, 2016 20 Comments A + a -

  1. January – New Year's Eve Party followed by Firework's in downtown Denver for the New Year 2015.
  2. February – I went to a Filipino-American Valentine's day party and got picked in the drawing to be Miss Valentine 2015 partnered with a random man also picked for the night. I even have a crown.
  3. March – Well it is my birthday month. What a good day to spend it Beni-hana while eating good food  cooked in front of us with Paul and his family.
  4. April – Is my fitness challenge month with my co-nurses. It encouraged me to walk for fitness and shake my blues away.
  5. May – The month my boss offered resources to help me deal with family issues.
  6. June – I discovered a volleyball club that offers free open gym for my daughter.
  7. July – I started the Chopra meditation introduced to me by a patient and his wife.
  8. August – We are back to family therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy.
  9. September – I am beginning to be a couponing expert and saving good money on groceries and clothes.
  10. October – It's a joy to watch my daughter in volleyball varsity.
  11. November – It's Paul's birthday month and where did we eat? Benihana.
  12. December – I made it through the year! Here are the last-week-of-December pictures.

Looks like you had a good 2015 and I'm hoping your 2016 is even better. I also know where you enjoy eating the most too. I can't disagree.

Have a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. ☺

Excellent doggie photos! (I'm a big fan of the canine set).
I liked the orderly and clear recount on the year past, surely is an excellent way to not only see the positives, but to see the interactivity (when it happens)/

I get ridiculously excited about coupon savings at the grocery store, so your September jumped out at me. :)
Volleyball is so fun to watch and play. Glad your daughter is getting to go.
Here is to peace and lots of saved money in the coming year!

Miss Valentine 2015?! Nice! Do you have to do anything to relinquish your crown next Valentine's Day?

I picked the good things to be thankful for, of course. :)

Haha, Benihana is for special occasions only for me. Expensive.

I had to look at my calendar for this. It is not easy to remember what happened what month.

Thank you. Daughter is playing her first tournament this year with her club. I think I am more excited than she is.

If it's the same as last year's, I would walk down the hall with my Mr Valentine to the stage and then we would crown the new couple. It is actually kinda fun.

It was the free Oprah meditation for 21 days. They offer it free from time to time. I don't get the paid packages. I am cheap. Here is a link. https://chopracentermeditation.com/login

A year of a great many triumphs. I hope that your 2016 holds as many (and more) things that you can look back on with satisfaction and pleasure. Hope the volleyball's still going well - I understand that Dyanne's daughter has played for a long time, and loves it. I hope your daughter finds the same :)

Great post, Carin. Some wonderful items of gratitude each month of the year. I'd say that's a positive trend. Hope 2016 is wonderful.

Make sure you keep that crown dusted off! You never know when you might need to whip it out. Glad volleyball is going well. I know you've had a lot of rough patches this year, and I'm glad you found so much to be grateful for!
